Engine, drive system, fuel consumption
The Lexus UX series consists of two powertrain configurations, offering both pure petrol drive and hybrid.
The petrol-powered UX 200 utilizes a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 126kW at 6600rpm and 205Nm at 4400-4800rpm, and powers the rear wheels via a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
The UX 200’s 2.0-liter engine is further refined with an improved stop/start system compatible with the features of the Safety System+ suite included in Lexus.

12
The hybrid UX 250h combines a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with one or two permanent magnet motors for two-wheel or all-wheel drive. Whether you choose 2WD or AWD UX 250h, the total output is 135kW, with the 2WD variant at a lower 4.5L/100km (compared to 5.8L/100km for the UX 200).
The AWD UX 250h doesn’t get more power than its single-motor counterparts, though the rear-axle electric motor provides front/rear torque bias.

12
Vehicles in F-Sport trim have 20 additional spot welds on the chassis, stiffer rear door reinforcements for added stiffness, stiffer steering gearbox mounts and suspension members.
safety
The Lexus UX received a five-star rating from ANCAP given to all variants and powertrains in November 2018.

Pre-collision safety system that detects pedestrians and daytime cyclists |
active cruise control |
lane trace assist |
Road sign assist (speed signs only) |
automatic high beam |
parking assist monitor |
