ALFRED — Alfred State College’s Marketing Communications Office won six awards, including top rankings for Dr. Stephen Mauro’s inauguration.
“Dr. Mauro humbly claimed that his inauguration was not only the beginning of a new government, but a celebration of the entire university.” It is a recognition of the entire campus community united for a memorable event that demonstrates pride, purpose and commitment.”
In addition to traditional ceremonies, Alfred State University’s opening ceremony included a campus-wide pioneer walk, bringing hundreds of faculty and students together to help the university foster hands-on learning, innovation, and a caring and supportive community. Demonstrated different ways to use it to develop career-ready graduates. Nunley from Marketing, Lisa Gardner from Academic Affairs, and Trish Haggerty and his Sam Jurek from the Office of the President spent hours coordinating the event.
Alfred State University has joined prestigious institutions such as Auburn, Clemson, Colorado State University, and the University of California, Davis for the top gold ranking in North America in marketing materials for the 2022 Special Event of Excellence. The design, writing, printing, and strategy of the event were all created by our in-house marketing staff. This is a rarity among international award winners. Mauro’s inaugural website, videos, banners and press releases detailing the inauguration theme, participants, timeline and history of the university complete the materials for the special event.
The Educational Advertising Awards rank the merits of marketing campaigns in the United States and Canada, regardless of school size. The College Advertising Awards award Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Excellence awards for college or college admissions among American schools of comparable student numbers. Her 2022 inauguration of Alfred State earned high honors from both organizations.
Recent awards recognize graphics and UX/UI web design, video, photography, writing, print, and marketing strategy. His magazine for Alfred State Alumni Online, designing outdoor billboards, and websites for his extensive career path all earned him second place in an international silver award.
The National Award for Merit was also awarded for the graphic design, writing, photography, and printing of Alfred State’s Student Viewbook, which is used by admissions counselors for recruitment.
