Apple likes to change its Apple Watch strap wardrobe seasonally, but it’s done so again with 19 colorful new options that are likely to polarize opinion.
Most of the new straps are in Apple’s Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop ranges and are compatible with Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Ultra, and Apple Watch 4 (or later). There are also four new colors available in the Sport Band range compatible with Apple Watch 3 and later, and some new options in the ultra-pricey Hermès range.
So what new colors should you choose? Just like the iPhone 14, the Solo Loop ($49 / £49 / AU$69) is now available in Canary Yellow, Purple Fog, Olive and Sprout Green. I was. I’m not sure the latter name really sells it to us, but it seems like a hilarious new option for those who want a silicone rubber band.
If you prefer a strap woven with a mix of recycled and silicone yarns, the Braided Solo Loop ($99 / £99 / AU$149) is for you. Currently available in Purple Fog, Olive, and Bright Orange, the latter we think might force ourselves into his guide to the best Apple Watch bands.
We think the Apple Watch Hermès strap range ($319 / £319 / AU$469) is overpriced, but if you’re willing to spend the equivalent of an Apple Watch 8 on a new band again, the Range 8 new options has been added.
These include the green Bamboo Swift Leather Single Tour (also available as a Double Tour that wraps twice around the wrist) and the Orange/Bran Swift Leather Cassac Double Tour. Visit the Apple Watch Band Shop to see the full range. (opens in new tab) .
missed a chance

We’ve added some strong new products to our range of new Apple Watch straps. Our picks are the new Purple Fog and Bright Orange versions of the Braided Solo Loop. But there are also some missed opportunities.
Unfortunately, Apple hasn’t added any new Sport Loop colors since it’s a popular band that offers a sweet spot of affordability and comfort. There are 6 sport loop options.
Oddly enough, Apple didn’t even design a strap specifically for the Apple Watch Ultra, which launched in September. The Watch Ultra is compatible with standard 45mm bands such as the Braided Solo Loop and Solo Loop, but Apple should only use these bands with the Ultra for “casual and everyday use.” I warn you.
When pairing the 45mm band with the Ultra, Apple also notes that “due to the larger case size of the Apple Watch Ultra, you may need to use a smaller size than before.” Unfortunately, Apple didn’t add his new 49mm bands such as the Ocean Band, Alpine Loop and Trail Loop to this new range of outdoor activity collections, but these may be added in future updates. .
If you’ve had your eye on one of the older Apple Watch bands, such as the Succulent Solo Loop or Rainforest Braided Solo Loop, even if these new arrivals have been replaced, they may still be in stock, so check with your local Apple It’s worth checking out the Store.
