Neural networks continue to amaze with their capabilities.Developer Pietro Scirano reveals GPT-4 was able to create his JavaScript version of the popular game pon, asteroid, break out and Pac-ManAt the same time, it took about a minute to generate each.
The game was made according to a short TOR and the details were not stipulated in the task. First, Cyrano asked his GPT-4 what he considers the best programming language for neural networks to “create games like Pong.” In response, the system encouraged the use of JavaScript and generated a playable version itself.
Additionally, Neural Networks added a scoring system to Breakout. As the developer himself stated, the GPT-3.5 version did not allow him to create Pong.
Pac-Man took 90 seconds to create and the game was “ordered” by a user under the nickname Shota. After generation, he slightly changed the color of the code and modified the position of the mouth of the game’s protagonist. At the same time, the user said he didn’t understand the code.
It was previously reported that GPT-4 was able to create a “steal the cow” JavaScript game.
