Scholastica snaps a six-year skid of not having an All-American. The UWS made her an All-American selection for the second year in a row.
DULUTH, Minnesota – The Saint Scholastica Saints trio won national status on Thursday.
Brothers Filimon and Arkhip Ledenkov landed in the West 1st team. while their teammate and goalkeeper Jack Bostedt joined the No. 2 West team.
Archip would finish the year with 48 points for the Saints. And his older brother Philimon was right behind him with 42 points.
At the CSS net, Bostedt had six shutouts that year.
The trio are the first All-Americans the Saints have since 2017 when Dylan Novakowski landed on the second team.
There was another All-American just across the bridge, as freshman goaltender Dylan Maylan was named to the West Division’s ACHA First Team.
Meilun had a great first season with Yellowjackets averaging 1.51 goals. 941 save percentage, with six shutouts.
He is the 61st All-American player in program history and the 6th All-American goaltender in program history.
It’s also the second year in a row that the UWS has a player with All-American honors.
