SpaceX, Tesla, and The Boring Company have all sold quirky merchandise.
Tesla unveiled in 2018 a range of lifestyle products, including wireless chargers for smartphones and mini Teslas for kids.
More whacky items started appearing on SpaceX’s and The Boring Company’s websites.
Some products, such as the “Not-A-Flamethrower,” have caused much controversy. Perhaps the most famous is Tesla’s red satin short shorts, designed to taunt short-sellers betting against his stock.
