Emporia Hosts Northwest Missouri

The Emporia State basketball team will host Northwest Missouri tomorrow.

Men’s matches are ranked team matches. Emporia ranks him 22nd and Northwest ranks him 1st.

Emporia State coach Craig Doughty says he has to be ready to play.

Junior Mayuom Boom says they have to be themselves.

The Northwest men have won 21 in a row. The last time they lost was last season, 76-75, to Emporia State.

The Emporia State Women’s team will play their home opener. Coach Toby Wynn said everyone is looking forward to playing at the White Auditorium.

Sophomore Faith Paramore says he may have struggled offensively because his defense was good.

The game time is 5:30 for women and 7:30 for men. Both games air on his MIX 104.9. The interview will start at 5:05 pm.

Also Saturday #8 Kansas hosts #14 Indiana. Coach Bill Self says this will be a good test for the Jayhawks.

Tip off is set at 11am. KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM coverage begins at 9:30 am.

Kansas State will play Nebraska in Kansas City at 6 p.m. National 101.7FM coverage begins at 5pm.

Wichita hosts Oklahoma. The game will take place at the Intrust Bank Arena from 8pm.
