Flint Hills Technical College Celebrates Winter 2022 Graduates Friday Night

Flint Hills Technical College’s recent graduates received their final lesson on the importance of accountability at the college’s winter semester on Friday night.

Richard Johnson, a firefighter and FHTC alumnus, delivered the evening’s opening address on just this topic. According to Johnson, accountability is a key value that creates success in the professional world.

Johnson also talked about the importance of goal setting. He says that setting goals for himself, his only one, can often mean the difference between stagnation and success.

About 40 students received various degrees and certificates as part of Friday’s ceremony. FHTC’s winter graduation coincided with Emporia State University’s graduate student graduation at the White Auditorium.

Winter graduation activities follow on Saturday morning at ESU with the University Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony. Activities begin at 9am inside the White Auditorium with doors opening 90 minutes before the start of the ceremony.
