Galaxy A series device with 120Hz screen officially launches on January 18th, most likely A54

Samsung’s official India website has announced that the company will unveil its new A-series smartphones on January 18 at 12pm local time. If you would like to be notified when the launch happens, you can register your interest. The microsite also has some teasers.

These reveal that the most likely star of next week’s show is the Galaxy A54. Then there’s also the fact that Samsung is teasing his 120 Hz screen on its next handset, in line with what the A54 should get. Finally, the colors – Samsung has officially revealed that they will be Awesome Black, Awesome Burgundy and Awesome Green, which have already been shown in a series of leaked renders from late December.

So even if the company doesn’t say the word “Galaxy A54,” it’s clear that the Jan. 18 event is all about that phone. We’ve always insisted on having a 90 Hz display. There are two other discrepancies, the first being that the aforementioned leaked render showed a white A54.

Either way, we’re just over a week away from the big reveal where everything will be revealed.
