GREENWICH — The Eastern Middle School Drama Club will present a theatrical version of Disney’s blockbuster High School Musical from February 2-4 at the school’s Lee Book Auditorium.
Eastern Middle School teachers Jennifer Badiro and Julia Fama will produce and Fama will direct. The show features choreography by Scott Cisbalo of St. Saviors School of Dance.
Based on the 2006 film of the same name. It tells the story of star high school athlete Troy Bolton (Matthew Smiles) who has a crush on smart and talented Gabriela Montez (Laila Salvatore). Together they want to audition for the next school musical. try to thwart your efforts.
In the past, the school’s annual musical was only open to eighth graders. This year, all students from grades 6 to 8 participated, and about 100 students formed the cast and staff. First performance of “High School Musical” by EMS.
