But that’s all about to change. I have to tell you that this is the Ear (1) update I’ve been waiting for. These buds are the kind that only a company that truly cares about sound quality can announce: Hi-Res certified earbuds (capable of transmitting up to 24-bit/192 kHz at speeds reaching 1 Mbps. If you put the original Nothing Ear (1) next to Nothing Ear (2), you can assume that they are mostly unchanged. Each ear is tested. After testing is complete, there is still an option for the intensity slider (in 1% increments) and a ‘Soft’, ‘Recommended’, or ‘Rich’ preset of Nothing.
When the test is complete, you’ll see a graph showing acoustic enhancement with Nothing in red, but if you go to the EQ tab, this will also show up as a blob under the “Custom” tab.
