Our client is currently looking for an experienced mid-level PHP developer to join their team in their Johannesburg office.
Requirements:
- Solid software development experience in PHP
- Understanding of open source projects such as Joomla, Drupal, Wiki, and osCommerce
- Solid knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and web service development
- Experience with common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay, etc.)
- A passion for the best design and coding practices and a desire to develop bold new ideas
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Subjects

- Create detailed specifications
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
