I’m working on my little project called “Scrabble Scoreboard”. I’m not very good at JS and need some help. What I’m trying to do is create a function that takes the values inserted into the input fields and adds them to the “total score”. I’m thinking about how to do it, but I don’t think I’m on the right track. help me. Below is the code so far. (Ignore the CSS, I’ll improve it later).

<!-- CSS -->

    body {
        background-image: url("");
        background-size: cover;

    h1 {
        text-align: center;
        color: lightyellow;
        padding: 10px;
        background-color: rgb(9, 72, 49);
        border-radius: 20px;
        border-style: inset;
        border-color: green;
        border-width: 5px;
        font-family:'Gill Sans', 'Gill Sans MT', Calibri, 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;

    table.scrabble {
        margin-left: auto;
        margin-right: auto;
        padding: 4px;
        background-image: url("");

    td {
        padding: 4px;
        margin-left: auto;
        margin-right: auto;
        color: darkgreen;

total. total. total. total.
<!-- JavaScript -->

Thanks in advance!

Hmm… I need more code tagging so I can see what you’re doing.

Code blocks begin and end with triple backticks followed by a newline.
