Microsoft announces major update to list that promises 2x speed and UX optimizations

Microsoft has announced a major update to the Lists app, promising to deliver “twice as fast, half the hassle.” Without going into details, the company says that new lists load in half the time thanks to various optimizations made under the hood. Apart from that, the user experience (UX) has also been revamped. for example,[Group By]button has been updated.

Lincoln DeMaris, Principal Group Product Manager for Microsoft Lists, wrote a blog post on the Microsoft Tech Community forums. he writes:

First, share your favorite updates. We’ve supercharged lists within browsers, PWAs, and Teams so they load in half the time. Whether it’s a Lamborghini or a Liszt, performance is the ultimate hallmark. So you can stop reading here and enjoy a summer of lightning-fast views, forms, and fields, even if you don’t change anything about how you work with Lists. But wait. These performance updates are combined with a series of optimizations to the user experience that put people, content, and important actions front and center.
