Multimedia Designer – South Africa

Motsepe Advertising is looking for a highly skilled Multimedia Designer with 3+ years of experience. As a key member of our agency, we are responsible for creating visually appealing designs in a variety of media, digital and video.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Work with internal teams such as Account Management, Creative and Strategy to understand client needs and create designs that are aligned with goals and objectives
• Design and production of a wide range of materials such as video/animation advertisements, pamphlets, presentations, SNS graphics and animations, web page design, videos, etc.
• Conceptualizing and designing visual content for digital campaigns such as banner ads, email campaigns and landing pages
• Creating and editing videos and animations for various platforms such as social media, websites and internal presentations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all deliverables are completed on time and on budget
• Stay on top of the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices and share that knowledge with your team

The ideal candidates for this role are:

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design, multimedia design, or related fields
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse design styles and mediums
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Web design and development experience is not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, multimedia design, or a related field is usually required.
