Rye, NY — Rye’s cyberspace is now a little more accessible for community members who need special accommodations.

On Monday, the city of Rai announced the latest upgrade to its website with the aim of increasing inclusiveness for all residents.

Users can now take advantage of new accessibility features such as using screen readers, enlarging text, changing fonts, and pausing animations. All of these features are accessible by clicking the accessibility button at the top of the page.

The City of Rai said accessibility is a top priority and the latest upgrade to its website is another step in ensuring that all residents have access to important information and services. By implementing these features, the city hopes to reach more residents and make the online experience more user-friendly.

“We are proud to introduce these new features to our website,” said Rye City Manager Greg Asley. “We believe that providing an accessible website is essential to serving a diverse community and ensuring that all residents have equal access to the resources they need.”

New accessibility features are now live on the City of Rye website. All residents are encouraged to try new features and provide feedback on their user experience.
