Olive Themes, a relatively new independent theme shop, has released its third block theme in its WordPress.org directory. Arc FSE is a high-contrast multi-purpose theme designed for wide flexibility by supporting site-wide editing features.

This theme features the open source and highly readable Poppins web font in various weights and sizes. The color palette is dark with bright lemon yellow accents. It’s bold without being too flashy, making it suitable for professional use cases.
Arc FSE doesn’t have style variations, but users can easily change accent colors for buttons, headings, etc. by editing templates.

The theme comes with 20 custom patterns that make up different sections of the design. They’re all conveniently grouped under ‘Arc FSE’ in the pattern explorer, so you don’t have to look for anything that belongs to a theme. This includes all page patterns for Home, About, Services, and Portfolio pages. There are also section patterns such as default footers, 404 pages, promotional videos, sidebars, search cover blocks, and services.

When Arc FSE is first installed, the home page is set up to look almost exactly like the demo, so users can easily start customizing. It’s nice to have a style guide for your theme, but for the most part you get what you see in the free demo. Olive Themes also makes a pro version that includes additional features, WooCommerce support, and blocks like testimonials and star ratings.
Arc FSE is a good option for companies, agencies, foundations, or artists with portfolios. In less than a week, it’s already being used by over 100 sites. This theme can be downloaded for free from WordPress.org.
