According to reports, the alleged owner and superadministrator of the underground hacking forum BreachForums has been arrested.
The FBI has arrested an individual named Conor Brian FitzPatrick. This person confirmed to law enforcement that the BreachForums owner and administrator used the alias pompompurin.
“When I arrested the defendant on March 15, 2023, he told me: a) his name was Conor Brian FitzPatrick; Used. c) He is the owner and administrator of the data breach website ‘BreachForums’ referred to in the complaint,” said FBI Special Agent John Longmire.
Sales of unauthorized access terminals According to Pompompurin’s affidavit, Fitzpatrick was charged with “conspiracy to solicit individuals for the purpose of selling unauthorized access devices.”
The suspect was released on a $300,000 bond and is expected to appear in the Eastern District of Virginia court later this week.
