Just to add, the part of the article you quoted is also misleading. “Allow for termination” if it’s risky to a mother’s life doesn’t mean they will let you have one. Women regularly die in Poland because an abortion was not provided because doctors go to prison if a prosecutor determines an abortion was performed too soon, so many doctors just opt not to perform them even though technically the law allows for it.
Just to reiterate: The state is fine if a doctor doesn’t save a woman’s life by refusing to provide an abortion but the doc will likely have to defend if not outright imprisoned for trying to save her. Pro-life my ass.
