TAMPA, FL — Hunter Wilson is getting a head start on his future.

A teenager started his own web design business at the age of 15. She is 17 now and wants to get more clients.

Wilson’s goal is not just to grow his business. It’s also about helping people and making the world a better place with his website one at a time.

“This is my workplace,” said Wilson, who recently traded in an apron at Pizza Hut, with his “childish” ways.

Today, he is the founder and CEO of his own web design business, which he runs out of his father’s bedroom.

“It started as a project for my Nana in 2020,” he said.

Nana was his first client, but Wilson recently started marketing himself on Facebook. He says it keeps prices low and his turnaround times short.

“My motivation to help people started when St. Jude helped me beat leukemia. That was when I wanted to do something good for the world.

Wilson has been in remission since he was five years old.

Now his “good” comes in the form of a website. This includes his latest client, Chicago’s Best, his burger website, which he recently met in person for the first time.

Lisa Williams, owner of Chicago’s Best Burgers, said she felt connected to Hunter after speaking with her and wanted to give him a chance.

“I had to gain experience as an employee. I was fed up with that and pushed me towards becoming an employer,” Williams said. I wanted to work with him because he achieved success at such a young age. he wanted to work with me.

Wilson said he had faith in him because of business owners like Lisa, and as a little boy battling leukemia, he was able to keep his promise to make a difference by doing what he truly loves. rice field.

Hunter is currently a senior at Newsom High School. After graduating, he says he plans to pursue a full-time web design business.
