As for the platform, the developer is currently working exclusively on PC, but says he has “the intention to bring it to other major platforms as well.”
Haunted Chocolatier will almost certainly be supported on Steam Decks, but we also expect it to be on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. However, sometimes releases are delayed, like Stardew Valley.
Unfortunately, the game doesn’t have a release date yet — not even a vague ‘2022’ release window. . (opens in new tab) ConcernedApe says:
“I can’t promise a release date just yet. It’s still in a relatively early stage of development and I want to be able to work comfortably without the pressure of a release date.”

Haunted Chocolatier Gets New Screenshots
ConcernedApe, which offers a small new update to the game, has released new screenshots on Twitter. It may not be very recognizable from this image, but it’s a nice update that the project is moving forward. When asked how the development is going, ConcernedApe replied:
“Progress is pretty good, but it takes a long time to make a game. I’m making this completely from scratch (with the exception of very rarely reusing something from Stardew) [Valley], if that makes sense). We’re still in the middle of a long grind.”
