I’m a little disappointed that Apple didn’t name the yellow color that splattered on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. At least there was “midnight” in the really deep blues, but Apple clearly wasn’t interested in things like “banana yellow,” “sunflower yellow,” or “meringue yellow.”
See, it’s not just me. After unboxing the gleaming yellow handset and showing it to colleagues and colleagues, multiple people asked about the name. They, too, were saddened that Apple didn’t follow his Samsung path and name it “Lemon Yellow” like Samsung’s “Bora Purple,” which translates from Korean to “Purple Purple.” .

The new color variants, which bring the iPhone 14 color options to a total of six, were announced without fanfare on Tuesday (March 7). A yellow metal band brings a new pale yellow wallpaper. Pre-orders will open on March 10th, 2023 and will ship on March 14th.
Aside from a cheery new finish, there’s nothing different about this iPhone 14 (no new shades for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max). It has the same dual 12MP rear-facing camera system and a front-facing 12MP TrueDepth camera. The same 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display. Same latest generation A15 Bionic CPU. The current iPhone is just as good as it was when I reviewed it in a different color.
