University extends campus weather closure through January 31

Due to bad weather, TCU campus is closed and all classes are canceled from 12:00 on Monday, January 30th Until Wednesday, February 1, 6:00 a.m.

The university is closely monitoring the weather and will provide an update on campus conditions on February 1st by 10:00 PM on January 31st.

Stay safe and make good decisions

Special time during university closure (Updated at 2:30 pm on January 30)

  • BLUU and KFCB close at 9:30 PM on Monday nights and open from 9:30 AM to 8 PM on Tuesday nights. Dinner is served until 9 PM, subject to weather and staffing.
  • Tuesday dining hours at Market Square and Magnolia’s are 10am-1:30pm and 5-7pm.
  • The Rec Center closes at 9pm on Monday nights and is open from 10am to 9pm on Tuesdays. No group fitness classes are held.
  • The Mary Coots Barnett Library will be closed until 7:00 am on Wednesday, February 1st.
  • The Leadership and Student Participation Suites and the Intercultural Center will be closed until Wednesday, February 1st.
  • Brown-Lupton Health Center will close when the university closes. In an emergency, call TCU Police at 817-257-7777.
  • The Counseling and Mental Health Center at TCU is closed when the university is closed. For emergencies, call the 24-hour helpline at 817-257-7233 or the TCU Police Department at 817-257-7777. Please call.

Taking care of dormitory students
