UX tops list of marketers in April

User experience (UX) skills were the most sought after among senior marketers looking to hire for agencies in April, according to a new survey.

Our latest Marketers Most Wanted report also revealed significant demand for creative and production support, as well as social media content.

The survey, which monitors actual briefs posted on the Studiospace platform by Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) and brand owners, found that 14.9% of CMOs want UX support, up 54% from March (9.7%) Did.

Studiospace CEO Pete Sayburn says the demand for UX specialists reflects a skills shortage in the field.

“Good UX talent is hard to find, and major brands struggle to find enough talent in the space,” says Pete. “But they know their customers want a high-quality user experience, so they reach out to agencies.”

The study found that 13.4% of briefs are for creative and production projects, and 11.9% of CMO requests are for social media support.

Meanwhile, digital marketing demand more than halved in the first quarter, from 9.7% in January to 4.5% in April. Last month, Brief was his most-sought-after category with 13.7%, while Social Media was the most sought-after category, while Creative and Production had him with 9.7%.

“There has been a lot of demand for both social media and creative content this year,” said Pete. “Video skills, in particular, are in high demand and agencies specializing in the field are finding a lot of work with corporate clients.

“The digital world is becoming more and more video-based, so we expect this to become a popular specialty in the near future.”

The Marketers Most Wanted Survey is published monthly and is based on real-world summaries posted on the Studiospace platform by CMOs and brand owners.
