Vanilla Oppo Find X6 also comes with three 50MP cameras

Last month, a tipster’s digital chat station suggested that the Oppo Find X6 Pro would have three 50MP cameras on the back.

According to reports, the main cam will skip the 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor in favor of the tiny but capable Sony IMX890 with f/1.8 aperture with OIS. The Find X6 camera setup has also been co-developed with Hasselblad and will feature a MariSilicon X NPU.

If the main camera setup sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the same on several Oppo phones, including the Find N2 foldable and the Reno9 Pro series (both Plus and regular).

There aren’t many details on the other two 50MP cameras, but Leakster claimed one is an ultra-wide-angle shooter. In contrast, the other is a machine-translated “basic periscope”, which I can only assume means a classic 2-3x telephoto zoom like its predecessor, the Find X5.

The device is 9.2 mm thick at the base, 12.3 mm at the camera, and weighs 207 grams.
