Cheyenne, WY (Press Release) – The Wyoming Community Navigator Program (CNP) is expanding its offerings to help small business owners succeed.

Wyoming CNP provides small business resources and assistance to traditionally underserved entrepreneurs across Wyoming through the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) network at the University of Wyoming. The new CNP services include funding for professional and marketing assistance as well as an online subscription service.

“Based on conversations with entrepreneurs across the state, one of the common barriers to new businesses is the lack of professional business service providers, such as accountants and lawyers, and software subscriptions to help with things like bookkeeping and graphic design. It’s about delivering,” says Nicholas. Giraldo, his manager at the Wyoming CNP program, said:

Professional services include assistance in areas such as accounting, legal, e-commerce, and critical document translation. For eligible clients, CNP can also fund software subscriptions such as QuickBooks and Canva.

To assist Wyoming small businesses with their online marketing efforts, CNP’s marketing consulting services provide website design consulting, digital marketing template creation, messaging and branding consulting.

“This is a game-changer for all small businesses in Wyoming. We are connecting these entrepreneurs with local resources to help them think big, even if they start small. We are happy to do it,” says Giraldo.

The beginning of the new year is the perfect time for business owners to update their marketing strategies and new software programs to start, grow, and reorient their businesses.

To participate in these CNP enhanced services, please visit www.wyomingcommunitynavigator.org and click on the “Sign Up” link. Advisors will contact small business owners to assess their eligibility for services. For more information, call Giraldo at (307) 399-8694 or email ngiraldo@uwyo.edu.
